
Ministry of Justice Qualifies Legal Professionals on Various Legal Topics
The Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice conducted three training courses for several legal professionals in various ministries and government entities, from August 25 to 29, 2024. The courses addressed:
- Preparing and Drafting Administrative Contracts Skills
- Judicial Enforcement in the Field of Taxes
- Provisions Governing Real Estate Brokerage and the Broker’s Obligations in Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
Preparing and Drafting Administrative Contracts Skills
This course aims to enhance participants’ skills in administrative law, focusing on administrative contracts and their governing principles. Key topics include:
- Characteristics of administrative contracts
- Differences between administrative and private law contracts
- Types of administrative contracts and contracting methods
- Preparation and technical drafting of typical administrative contracts
- Rights and obligations of contractors with the administration
Judicial Enforcement in The Field of Taxes
This course aimed to develop legal and practical skills in judicial enforcement for employees of the General Tax Authority. It covered:
- Nature of judicial enforcement
- Distinction between general and special judicial enforcement officers
- Jurisdictions of general judicial enforcement officers
- Provisions of the Income Tax Law and the Selective Tax Law
- Tasks of special judicial enforcement officers in the field of taxes
Real Estate Brokerage and Anti-Money Laundering
This course focused on reorganizing the real estate brokerage profession and activating regulatory procedures. It covered:
- Legal provisions regulating real estate brokerage in Qatari law
- Real estate brokerage contracts
- Obligations of real estate brokers
- Requirements for combating money laundering and terrorism financing
- Licensing procedures for real estate brokerage
